It’s finally happening… The Australian Volleyball Academy (AVA) program has been begging the twins to join them in Canberra for years. Now that Sam and Will have finished school, the opportunity can be taken, and we all wish them the best.
Sam and Will have been with VBVA since they first started the sport, back as 10yo little grommies. We’ve witnessed them grow… and grow… and wow, they’re tall now.
They have represented Australia at youth level on the boards, and won U18 Gold on the sand. Now, the boys will take that next step, into full-time training.
Whether the AVA sees them as beach or indoor players, we cannot wait to see what this move does for them in our sport.
